Week Two Critical Thinking

Based on your analysis of the assigned readings in Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom (3rd Edition), respond to both of the bullet points below using critical reasoning. 

Chapter One: What do we mean by Gifted, Talented and Exceptionally Able?
In one page respond to the following:

• Based on Gardner’s eight intelligences and his process for validating his theory, speculate what his viewpoint would be concerning standardized tests. How would he validate his argument? Use at least one academic source (with appropriate citation) to support your response.
  

Chapter Three: School-wide strategies for supporting Gifted and Talented children 
In 1 page respond to the following:

• This chapter discusses ways teachers can assess students’ intelligences in order to provide meaningful instruction. Chose two of the strategies discussed in chapter 3 of your textbook that teachers can use to assess students’ intelligences in order to provide meaningful instruction. Discuss why these are effective ways to gather information needed to understand each student’s multiple intelligences. Also include how you would implement and organize these strategies in your classroom. Use at least once academic source (with appropriate citation) to support your response.
